Adam walked away from
multiple pro indoor contracts
to chase an Olympic dream
in the sand.
After five years playing U Sports for the University of Windsor — ranked 3rd in the country for solo blocks in year four, team captain with a .418 kill percentage in year five — a Dutch agency was lining up pro indoor contracts in Europe.
Then Team Ontario's beach program called. His coach planted an Olympic dream. Adam turned down the indoor contracts, moved to full-time sand training, and earned a spot on the Team Canada Beach program. Five seasons on the FIVB World Tour and NORCECA followed.
Today he's still competing at Kitsilano Beach and coaching the athletes he used to be — adults, juniors, club teams, province teams. He has assistant-coached alongside Garth Pischke and Arnd Ludwig at the University of Manitoba. He's coached podium finishes across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and BC.
Beyond volleyball, Adam works with clients on underlying belief systems, flow state, habits, NLP, functional movement, nutrition, and hydration — the inner game that actually decides what your body can do.
